JJ, Owner and Master Stylist
Jong Lyol Joung (we just call him ‘JJ’) was formally trained at the David Marshall School of Hair Dressing in Dublin Ireland.
After coming to Canada, JJ started Jini Jung Hair Artisans in 2011 to cater to the growing demand for lifestyle hair design, care and styling.
He left JJHA to start SALON LYOL which specializes in lifestyle hair design. JJ believes every day can be a good hair day.
Kelly, Senior Stylist and Balayage Specialist
Kelly was previously a Senior Stylist at Hairformation (formerly DEFINITY Salon). She was trained at Toni&Guy Hairdressing Academy. Kelly is an Advanced Balayage Specialist.
Antonella, Senior Stylist and Bridal Specialist
Antonella Cumbo joined SALON LYOL from Stonerose Hair Studio as our latest Senior Stylist. Antonella has been a leader and visionary in the fashion and beauty industry for over a decade. Combining her creativity and keen ability to make everyone that sits in her chair look and feel amazing. Cumbo is an award-winning coveted bridal specialist, entrepreneur, international stylist, platform artist, editorial stylist, and hair accessory artist.
Antonella attended the Aveda Academy where she learned the fundamentals of hairstyling. In 2014 Antonella started and co-owned Stonerose hair studio. Antonella has been published in multiple magazines. She was awarded top 5 and top 10 in avant-garde for the contessas, and won Toronto hairstylist of the year award in 2019. Antonella was also awarded Best Wedding Hair and MUA Toronto in 2020.
Antonella’s unprecedented talent for precision haircuts and creative updo’s has earned her a solid reputation in the beauty, and bridal world. In addition to her work at SALON LYOL, Antonella is also a L'Oréal Professionnel Platform Artist.
Sarah, Senior Colourist and Hair Extensions Specialist
Sarah is the newest Sr. Colourist at SALON LYOL. Sarah joins the team from Stonerose Hair Studio. She’s a rockstar with balayage and fashion colours! She is also our Advanced Hair Extensions Specialist with in-depth experience with Fusion, Microbead, Tape-in and Volume Weft installations as well as tightening, rebonding, retaping and removal.
